It's Wednesday, February 14th. Valentines day to most, birthday for my daughter, but it is just another ordinary work day for me. Here I sit in my cubicle at (insert lame cubicle farm company here), not really working hard this morning, but spending more time deciding who I want my registrar to be for the next year as registerfly.com and enom.com have split up leaving my domain names in the balance. I generally mind my own business here at work, and rarely bring up anything to do with work, but lately it has been harder to keep my mouth shut. Today is no exception. So as I was sitting here minding my own business, watching people walk by my extremely open cubicle (story for another time), a gal walks by on her way to a meeting. I don't know many people here, and most don't know me as I try to stay as inconspicuous as possible. I happen to know this woman a little, decent person, I have no real reason to dislike her (unlike some other people here). But today, she walks by, wearing a letterman style jacket. Not a big deal. Right? HOWEVER... |

Hello random people!!! I don't know the majority of the people here, but if you are new, welcome! If you have been here before, nice to see you back! Not that I really care, some of you come to this site in search of random toys, others to laugh at jetpackin fools and some just to laugh at me I am sure. My latest obsession is sure to make some of you laugh, and others to just ask, "why?". Welcome to the strange world of supermotard. Yes, it sounds as retarded as it should. For those of you who don't have a clue, a supermotard, or the more popular term "supermoto", is essentially a dirt bike that for some strange reason we decided to put street tires on and see how sideways we can get while riding. I have only ridden my work in progress once as a supermoto and I am hooked, actually obsessed would be the best term. My wife is going to regret ever buying me the bike for my birthday...
Let's back up a bit though. I have been fascinated by supermoto for a while now. This wasn't, oh lets purchase a dirtbike on a whim. For the benefit of those that don't know me, I have been riding sportbikes for the better part of 6 years now. I love riding motorcycles, they are fast, they corner hard, and nothing compares ripping up Windy Ridge up towards Mt. St. Helens with a few of your best friends at rediculous speeds while pissing off traffic. I have owned a few sportbikes, and crashed one while at a trackday. So this isn't a "gee I saw this on TV and it looks fun" kind of purchase. I have been BEGGING my wife for at least 2 years now about building a motard. Click here to read more about the crazy sport that is SUPERMOTO! |

So lately I haven't updated the site, mostly because I have been working on a new site. Some of you know that I make decals under LightSpeed Designs . The original intent of LightSpeed Designs was more for business signs and decals. Currently the bulk of my market consists of motorcycle riders and I decided that they needed to have their own site to go to so that I could leave LightSpeed Designs business oriented. Therefore I launched motostika.com this past weekend and it has been met with success already! I am still busy filling motostika.com up with great decals to buy, but now I am not so busy designing and testing the site and I will have more time to put up reviews about my favorite useless but amusing toys that you all love to read about!!
The mad mind site here has been super successful since I started it earlier this year, I have had more visitors than I expected and I don't even sell anything. As always I will be keeping this site ad free even though everyone tells me that I could make money on the traffic that comes through here. Honestly I don't want to make money on you clicking on a banner that distracts you from the rest of my site. If you are here, it is because you like useless but amusing toys and like to read my rants about rediculous sites like myspace.com
I have about 10 articles currently lined up and ready to start putting up starting with a follow up to the cubees article. I recently purchased all of the Disney Cubees which the Disney stores were recently clearing out for about $2 each. If you havent gotten your hands on a few of these you should, they are a fun little toy to have sitting on your desk! Ok, that is it for me, make sure you go visit motostika.com even if you don't own a motorcycle! |

This is easily the best bathtub toy I have ever seen. I want these just to throw in the pool but I am sure my daughter will enjoy them in the tub. Furocchi are made by Sega Toys and are a battery powered aquatic toy that swims via a small motor. From what I can tell they can dive, surface and turn, but that seems to be random as they just swim wherever they want. So the toy itself is pretty cool, what kills me is the website and the advertising for the toy. Once again this is a site that I can not read, but was at least able to navigate to the Furrochi home page. On the note of spelling and Japanese and all that, I have seen this toy spelled a few different ways including Furocchi, and Furocci. I have no idea which is correct, but on eBay it is listed as Furocci.
